The services being offered at salons in Delhi have improved many folds because of the cut throat competition. All the parlours and beauty shops in town are competing against each other by offering lucrative deals and quality services. Most of these have a considerable following of loyal patrons. They are very particular about customer experience and people also don’t flinch away from spending lavishly on these services. However, the flip side of it is that many a time we end up spending more than we ought to. Most of us would have experienced this that we went for a simple facial massage but ended up taking a complete body spa and so on. At least I am particularly troubled by this weak resolve; it dishevels entire monthly budget. Every time I visit a salon in Delhi, I promise myself that I won’t listen to the tempting suggestions and stick to my budget, but all in vain. Then, one of my friends suggested me a plan to help cut down my parlour expenses. Here I am sharing these with you. There’s nothing extraordinary in these but some petty ideas can help you a lot.
• I prefer to go for my monthly beauty treatments whenever I go for shopping in Delhi at a mall. This way I am in a hurry to achieve my shopping goals and buy daily necessities. So, I can only take up those treatments as are necessary for me and nothing else.
• Prior to leaving for the salon, I take a good look at myself, noticing every pimple mark, tan and every inch that needs attention. By noticing all the flaws I make up my mind that what needs to be treated and what is fair enough so that I don’t fall for comments like “Ma’am you look so drained out, I think you should take this new lovely beauty treatment to work wonders”. I make sure how I look and the precise treatment required for correcting it.
• Think twice before buying any of the cosmetic products being suggested at salons. These are costlier and better than the market range. So, make sure you buy only what you truly need. Avoid buying a product that you have just bought for yourself from market. Ask for recommendations for problems you find serious, and buy only those.
